Gardening During COVID-19
What can gardening do to help with the coronavirus pandemic? Gardening has always been touted as a relaxing recreational activity that can provide great personal rewards. During this time, when many people are working at home and students are learning at home, gardening can be a positive family-inclusive activity to adopt.
The alternative learning space
The fourteen years of schooling that I underwent in the Cameroonian education system was beset with insecurity and confusion. My childhood was lost amidst overcrowded classrooms, rote memorization, and an oppressive grading system. I want to bring in a change to this state of affairs.
Wokomé … Learning with fun
Wokomé is created to cater for the needs of children who fall out of the conventional school system. This space will introduce them to a fun and engaging curriculum that enables them to have their confidence restored, develop creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
